Leaning On Him...

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
lean not on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him
and He will direct your paths."

~Prayer Requests~

Please continue to pray for Roz's Dad, Don. God has done great things and much progress has been made, however, he is still experiencing side effects from his July collision. Please pray specifically for him to be well enough to drive again, if that be the Lord's will. Please pray for Roz and her brother and sister as they continue to share the responsibility of caring for their Dad.

Please pray for John-David to find full-time work using the gifts the Lord has given him.

Please pray for Sarah to have strength for each task before her as she works and does on-line studies. She is also volunteering at a local crisis-pregnancy center. Pray for wisdom and compassion as she minsters there.

Please pray for Andrei as he enters a new realm of study in a local college. Pray that the Lord will use him as a testimony to his teachers and classmates. He asks that he would have the courage to stand alone in that setting.

Please pray for prepared hearts of the pastors and their wives who we will be ministering to at The Lodge.

Please pray for discernment for us concerning our involvement with orphan/fostercare children in the area.

Please pray for all of 'our' Russian students. Pray for those who are strong in the Lord to be bright lights among their peers. Pray for God's Word to come to the heart of those loved ones who have chosen to walk away from the Lord.

Grace Alone!

Every promise we can make
Every prayer and step of faith
Every difference we will make
Is only by His grace.

Every mountain we will climb
Every ray of hope we shine
Every blessing left behind
Is only by His grace.

Refrain:

Grace alone, which God supplies
Strength unknown, He will provide
Christ in us, our Cornerstone,
We will go forth in grace alone.

Every soul we long to reach
Every heart we hope to teach
Everywhere we share His peace
Is only by His grace.

Every loving word we say
Every tear we wipe away
Every sorrow turned to praise
Is only by His grace.

Refrain

Leaning on the Everlasting Arms

What a fellowship, what a joy divine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
What a blessedness, what a peace is mine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.

Refrain

Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms;
Leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms.

O how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
O how bright the path grows from day to day,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.

Refrain

What have I to dread, what have I to fear,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
I have blessed peace with my Lord so near,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
